Frequently Asked Questions

Key information concerning accommodations, safety vetting, and fellowship parameters.

Are remote volunteer fellowships genuinely impactful?

Yes, absolutely. Remote fellowships are carefully structured to support local teams with curriculum design, fundraising strategic plans, digital resources, and back-end support. Your virtual contributions integrate directly with active on-the-ground initiatives to ensure long-term sustainability.

We implement robust safety measures at all field locations. Volunteers are hosted in pre-vetted, secure accommodations and supported by an on-site program manager. We maintain 24/7 emergency response systems, local transport guidelines, and comprehensive health protocols.

No formal Special Educational Needs (SEN) certification is required to assist. While professional credentials are high value, we provide a complete training curriculum and paired oversight from specialized teachers to ensure you can support classroom environments productively and ethically.

As a registered nonprofit, our program fees strictly cover the actual costs of secure housing, locally-sourced meals, field logistics, pre-departure training, and local staffing. We offer transparent financial breakdowns for all participants and support fundraising efforts.
